About the role

Software Engineer focused on building and enhancing Signoff dashboards, CAD flow metrics, and data visualization tools for Apple’s Signoff infrastructure across all SOC design groups within Hardware Tech. Role includes full-stack development (Python/JavaScript/TypeScript), backend services, interactive frontend dashboards, SQL data management, and integration of AI/RAG features to improve Signoff processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and enhance Signoff dashboards, CAD flow metrics collection, and visualization tools used for Signoff by all Apple SOC design groups.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs; develop interactive frontend dashboards; work with SQL databases to manage and query enterprise-scale design data.
  • Work across the full stack using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Integrate RAG and AI-powered features to enhance how teams discover and interact with Signoff data.
  • Interface with design and CAD teams to develop high-impact web applications to improve Signoff process.
  • Contribute to the Signoff AI assistant and AI/RAG capabilities within the platform.
  • Follow software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD; employ test-driven development.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, or Express.js).
  • SQL database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
