About the role

Seeking an AI Security Architect with deep expertise in security architecture, AI/ML systems, and threat modeling to guide security for Apple’s AI initiatives. Owns architecture guidance, design reviews, and scalable AI-powered security patterns to enable secure AI adoption across Apple’s products, services, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own security guidance for critical, high-risk AI initiatives across Apple
  • Shape architecture patterns and conduct design reviews
  • Select or build security solutions for AI-driven environments
  • Translate expert decisions into AI-powered guidance that scales
  • Develop paved roads—pre-approved, secure-by-default patterns for AI projects
  • Reduce inbound requests by proactive foundational work and provide standardized controls
  • Evaluate AI risks (data poisoning, model manipulation, prompt injection) and apply AI to security workflows (threat modeling, design reviews, control validation)
  • Apply AI-driven tooling to extend team reach and scale impact
  • Contribute to Self-Service Enablement Platform by codifying decisions into AI-powered guidance
  • Identify emerging AI/ML technologies and patterns to steer future foundational focus areas
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and compliance teams
  • Operate under Zero Trust and Secure by Default principles

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security, or 6+ years of equivalent hands-on security experience in large enterprises
