About the role
Craftwork is a technology-enabled home services company focused on residential painting. They seek a Full Stack Engineer to build and scale their software platform spanning sales, customer communication, estimating, scheduling, field operations, and automation. The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality, scalable product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Ship High-Quality Product Experiences by designing and shipping complete product experiences and owning features from problem definition to launch and iteration.
- Build scalable full-stack frontend and backend systems to support increasing product complexity and market expansion.
- Elevate platform reliability & performance through testing, monitoring, and observability.
- Raise the engineering quality bar via clean, testable code, code reviews, and shared engineering standards.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, Operations, and customers to turn business problems into technical solutions.
- Create a product that gets better over time by staying close to users and proactively identifying friction and improvements.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, ShadCN UI, and Node.js
