About the role

Senior Mobile Software Engineer focused on React Native, owning driver-facing mobile features end-to-end for Curri's logistics platform. Remote role (US), collaborate with Product, Design, Ops, and broader engineering to ship measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own driver-facing features end to end, from problem definition through shipping and measuring impact
  • Build and maintain Curri's React Native driver app across iOS and Android
  • Develop offline-first functionality, background geolocation, and push notifications for unreliable connectivity
  • Drop into native iOS and Android code for location tracking, file uploads, or performance work
  • Talk directly with drivers, operations, and design to identify and fix driver experience issues
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues affecting app stability

Qualifications

  • Deep React Native expertise, 5+ years building and shipping production mobile applications across iOS and Android
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of native iOS and Android development to build/debug native modules for location tracking, file uploads, and background services
  • Strong UI and design sensibility, ability to translate fuzzy specs into pixel-perfect shipped work
  • Product-minded ownership: define problems, engage stakeholders, ship, and measure impact
  • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and enthusiasm to use them in build process
