About the role

Senior construction inspector role with Accenture Construct focused on delivering large-scale infrastructure programs (data centers, grids, rail, water) onsite with clients. Responsible for field inspection, coordinating with project teams, preconstruction activities, and developing inspection standards while building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inspection inquiries, identify potential issues, and report them to your supervisor.
  • Collaborate with project teams and coordinate in the field with clients, contractors, consultants, and agencies.
  • Assist in preconstruction activities, including reviewing drawings for constructability and preparing cost estimates.
  • Monitor contractor resources, document field changes, and help negotiate adjustments.
  • Delegate tasks, train inspectors, and support the development of company inspection standards.
  • Build strong client relationships and keep senior management informed of major project impacts.
  • Participate in construction, safety, and coordination meetings while reviewing contractor schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience working in the construction industry
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience with the ability to read and interpret contract documents, including plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk throughout the day; bend, crawl, climb (ladders, stairs, hills, etc.) and reach overhead; ability to lift 40 pounds or more; comply with PPE requirements; endure extreme physical temperatures, loud noises and fumes on project sites
