About the role

Experienced Master Data Architect overseeing data modernization engagements, providing technical leadership and architecture direction across multiple markets (Mexico, North America, Brazil, and Latin America) with a blend of hands-on delivery and team/stakeholder leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the team technically, enabling data scientists and data developers to build, enhance, and maintain data products across the engagement.
  • Architecture & Design: Participate in design and architecture discussions, defining solutions that follow security and performance best practices.
  • Solution Strategy: Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into viable technical solutions by selecting appropriate frameworks and approaches.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate directly with client team members to align technical solutions with business needs, balancing perspectives from technical leadership and business leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with strategy, customer experience, product, and non-technical program management teams to ensure solutions serve broader business goals.
  • Delivery Environment: Guarantee a stable and productive development environment for the team.
  • Data Assessment: Participate in data assessments and complex data modernization engagements, identifying priorities that deliver incremental value.
  • Practice Connection: Maintain direct connection with CI&T's data practice, contributing to and drawing on shared expertise across projects and clients.
  • Multi-market Delivery: Work across a variety of projects, clients, and subject-matter domains in coordination with teams in Mexico, North America, Brazil, and other Latin American countries.

Qualifications

  • Advanced/Fluent English (C1 or above)
  • Advanced/Fluent Spanish (C1 or above)
  • Solid experience in data architecture design and technical leadership
  • Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying pipelines, data lakes, data meshes, and other data products
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration and workflow automation
  • Solid experience translating business problems into data solutions
