About the role

Motivated Canvass Manager to execute the regional field plan, supervise paid canvasser operations, and lead door-to-door outreach in Stevens Point, WI, in a temporary full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • Train canvassers, launch canvass events, and supervise a team of canvassers in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Serve on the front lines of a voter outreach program for local and statewide candidates in-home regions, including regular door-to-door canvassing.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and timely and that regional data is entered promptly.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are met.
  • Recruit, schedule, and confirm canvassers.
  • Assist with delivering training programs.
  • Other duties and activities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 cycles of paid field campaign or other door-to-door canvassing experience.
  • Commitment to building power in the progressive movement.
  • Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN/LAN preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy, database skills; strong Microsoft Excel knowledge a plus.
  • Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong coaching skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bilingual experience is a plus, not required.

  • $250 GOTV bonus after completing qualifying shift Oct 31–Nov 3.
  • Gas-card incentives may be available.
