About the role

Internship in Onboard Software Integrity within Waymo's Software Engineering organization. Focus on building infrastructure and tooling to diagnose and prevent non-determinism in onboard autonomous vehicle software.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build infrastructure and tooling to diagnose software non-determinism across autonomous driving systems
  • Investigate and resolve non-deterministic execution patterns across Waymo codebases

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in software engineering or a related technical field
  • Strong programming skills in C++
  • Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and systems debugging
