About the role

Senior Manager leading New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Manager within AMD's Product Engineering Organization (PEO) to develop next generation AMD products, drive product solution into production, and meet cost, yield, and quality targets through cross-functional collaboration and effective leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product team in meeting the time to market, quality, yield and cost goals.
  • Interface with cross functional teams across the world to align and drive the product KPIs to meet the business goals
  • Provide leadership to the global operations teams, drive alignment among teams to achieve product requirements.
  • Set goal, plan and coordinate margin improvement activities.
  • Lead effort to optimize product positioning to meet business requirements
  • Accountable for product leadership and reports out regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues.
  • Strong people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
  • Experience in leading NPI teams and understanding the ecosystem of product development
  • Strong communication for collaboration with geographically distributed product engineering teams
  • Experience in semiconductor industry and worked on NPI (preferred)
  • Experience in Product Management methodology, fab process and/or x86/GPU/High Speed IO operation (preferred)
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to deliver program goals (preferred)
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (preferred)
  • Experience in leading medium to big teams (preferred)
