About the role
Internship opportunity with AMD to contribute to hardware engineering projects, collaborate with engineers, receive mentorship, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hardware environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products
- Train to build applications for external and internal use as well as large-scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization
Qualifications
- You are currently enrolled in a UK based University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge/experience in Digital Signal Processing Algorithms and Advanced Communications Standards (preferred)
- Digital logic design, RTL coding and verification (preferred)
- High-level language programming and scripting (Python, Java, C, etc.) or HDL (Verilog) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK as well as 3rd party logic simulator (preferred)
- Familiarity with RTL Development VHDL or Verilog (preferred)
- Familiarity with digital circuit design and testing using simulation tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with AMD-Xilinx FPGAs and system design tools (preferred)
