About the role

Internship position at AMD focused on digital front end (DFE) RF/5G/6G applications. Hands-on DSP work with MATLAB-based RF modeling, adaptive algorithms, and machine learning techniques in a high-performance computing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Tx/Rx RF modeling in MATLAB for RF Amplifier non-linear responses using adaptive algorithms (LS, LMS, RLS, Gradient Descent etc) along with advanced ML algorithms
  • Explore various advanced adaptive approaches for closed loop linearity improvements.

Qualifications

  • Completed Electromagnetic Theory, Matrix Theory, Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications coursework
  • Completed coursework in machine learning and various neural networks
  • Background in non-linear system analysis
  • Background in RNN, LSTM and other advanced long memory network
  • Background in Wireless Communications
  • MS Candidate – Wired/Wireless Communications background
