About the role

Lawyer based in Paris supporting France and BENELUX within EMEIA International Legal. The role provides local legal guidance on a broad range of Apple product and service issues, collaborates with global subject-matter experts, manages legal risk to enable business, and engages with regulators and policymakers as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for legal matters in France and Benelux, reporting to the Senior Legal Manager for Europe.
  • Advise on a broad range of issues relating to Apple’s products and services, leveraging knowledge of European Union laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with local and regional colleagues and worldwide subject-matter experts to address local law issues.
  • Proactively enable business while managing legal risks, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Engage with regulators and policymakers to support and advocate for Apple’s business in the region.
  • Stay up to date with latest legal developments and adapt communication style to audience and stakeholders.
  • Travel as required.
  • Demonstrate soft skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, networking, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • University law degree with above-average exam grades.
  • Bar admission in France.
  • 5+ years of experience at an international law firm and/or in-house at a multinational company.
  • Technology savvy, business-oriented with good problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
