About the role

Engineer to architect next-generation display technology, characterize and optimize electro-optical performance, and prototype/validate panel and algorithmic solutions for mass production. Role involves hands-on Lab work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to align calibration flows and demonstrate proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate new technologies for next generation products
  • Design display architecture and prototype, bring-up, characterize the feature
  • Establish electro-optical performance metrics and requirements through measurement and modeling
  • Propose design iteration or compensation algorithm, prototype demo presentation and documentation for cross-functional team
  • Hands-on characterization of electro-optical performance, scripting for lab-level measurement automation, image processing for data analysis, proposing design iterations, working with vendors and cross-functional teams to align calibration flow and strategies, system integration of proposals, prototype demo for management, presentation and documentation of proposals for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in circuit design (analog/ mixed-signal) or image sensor or imager design
  • Lab experience, including data acquisition and measurement automation
  • Master's or Ph.D. in relevant field of study
  • Demonstrate engineering passion, intuition, and inquisitiveness
  • Circuit simulation experience such as HSPICE or Spectre
  • Python and Matlab scripting skills
