About the role

AppleCare Technologies Business Process Reengineering (BPR) project management role leading mid to large-scale technical projects across AppleCare systems, spanning sales, service, support, supply chain, and logistics. Owns scoping, requirements, solution design participation, technology selection, resource planning, governance, risk management, and change readiness. Collaborates with diagnostics engineers, hardware TPMs, solution architects, IS&T, and data scientists to deliver integrated enterprise solutions in a global setting.

Responsibilities

  • - Plan and lead multiple complex technical projects, balancing scope, schedule, and budget with engineering feasibility and long-term platform health.
  • - Drive the technological design process, from requirements definition and user stories to solution architecture, vetting, and selection.
  • - Lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams spanning engineering, operations, and third-party partners to ensure well-architected, integrated, and sustainable solutions.
  • - Translate business context of service operations (hardware, repair, diagnostics, service process, customer journey) into technology development lifecycles.
  • - Partner with data scientists, solution architects, and engineering teams to define technically grounded requirements and evaluate architectural options including AI/ML and automation.
  • - Manage project risk by identifying technical dependencies, integration risks, and testability concerns throughout the lifecycle.
  • - Facilitate capital planning for new projects and scope changes with business justifications, systems strategy, and roadmaps.
  • - Ensure readiness for system and process changes via design/playback reviews, UAT support, cutover deployment activities, and change management.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
  • - 4+ years of engineering project management or technical program management experience delivering large-scale cross-functional systems or engineering programs
  • - Experience partnering on technical solutions with engineering and architecture teams to influence decisions
  • - Background in supporting system configuration, architecture, and SDLC in an engineering or systems context
  • - Knowledge of enterprise-level systems (SAP or equivalent) and their interdependencies in complex tech ecosystems
  • - Familiarity with hardware repair, diagnostics, service engineering, or manufacturing/quality engineering environments
  • - Experience with global programs spanning regional requirements
  • - Ability to deliver project updates to diverse cross-functional teams including executives
  • - Background in defining technical objectives and execution plans for cross-functional teams
  • - Delivery of projects incorporating AI/ML, data intelligence, or automation as core design
  • - Change management execution in technical programs (stakeholder impact, readiness, training, communications)
  • - Knowledge of logistics, forward and reverse supply chain, and planning systems
  • - Knowledge/experience with SAP or similar enterprise-level supply chain and logistics systems (WMS, TMS, EM, planning systems)
