About the role

Experienced Thin-film/ALD Engineer with strong vacuum systems background to lead technical initiatives and process improvements related to device performance. Hands-on role focused on equipment performance, safety compliance, documentation, training, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support equipment engineering activities, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of complex systems
  • Apply deep expertise in vacuum systems and associated subsystems to support production, R&D, or customer environments
  • Serve as a technical mentor and resource for engineers and technicians, helping to build a strong, capable team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment upgrades, process support, and root cause investigations
  • Drive and support equipment safety programs, ensuring procedures, training, and operations meet all compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Document and communicate technical findings, best practices, and project progress clearly and consistently

Qualifications

  • Bachelors with 5-10 years of experience in module engineering or technical support roles, with a strong knowledge of vacuum and thin film systems
