About the role

Role focused on building and operating AI compute infrastructure at Fluidstack, including fleet health, repair workflows, hardware qualification, and site-wide systems to support scalable accelerator deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Build the fleet health system: real-time telemetry and tiered healthchecks on every machine across Kubernetes and bare metal, rolled into one API with alarms and on-call integration.
  • Turn repair and RMA into generated work: automate failure detection, triage, parts, vendor returns, and return to service with production engineer shift todo lists.
  • Ship hardware qualification as software: burn-in, performance baselining, and new hardware validation embedded into rack-level workflows to onboard thousands of accelerators with evidence attached in the graph.
  • Run the facility on the same system as the fleet: maintain asset model, migrate tools, and retire legacy inventory before audits and new construction.
  • Turn every runbook into a checked procedure: structure SOPs, training records, and technician qualifications; provide dashboards with SLOs, deployment cycle times, and labor ramp reports.

Qualifications

  • Shipped production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript (or equivalent) and adaptable to problem-specific languages.
  • Built features on LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models), MCP servers, and agentic frameworks.
  • Experience with AI coding tools and autonomous agents.
  • Ability to identify problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for direction.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with on-call rotations and turning operational pain into scalable systems.
  • Product sense demonstrated through intuitive interfaces and workflows for engineers.
