About the role

Role focused on turning manufacturing and procurement processes into software to scale AI infrastructure deployment and operations across global data center sites.

Responsibilities

  • Turn the bill of materials into the order book: derive costs and lead times from templates and project bills to source billions of dollars of hardware from a single source of truth.
  • Make procurement tracking trustworthy: encode rules for late lines, status meanings, and critical path in code against live vendor data to catch drift and draft recovery plans.
  • Close the loop from receiving to payment: ensure three-way matches and traceability across purchase orders, warehouse bins, and finance records.
  • Ship manufacturing as software before the factory opens: model manufacturing BOMs, change notices, drawing trees, inspection/test plans, and nonconformance workflows with evidence attachment and vendor rescores.
  • Embed with sourcing leads, quality managers, factory operators, and warehouse teams to turn their judgment into procurement and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

  • Shipped production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript (or equivalent) and adapt to problem-specific languages.
  • Built real features on LLM APIs, MCP servers, and agentic frameworks; production document extraction from messy inputs.
  • Experience with AI coding tools and autonomous agents working alongside engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to move fast under deadline while keeping robust data models and foundations for others to extend.
  • Earned credibility with factory/warehouse/procurement operators and driven adoption in live production or critical financial cycles.
  • Bonus: experience with MES, ERP, WMS, or TMS; BOM lineage, engineering change control, serialized component traceability; supplier quality processes; three-way matching and receiving reconciliation; LLM extraction over vendor documents.
