About the role

Role responsible for the day-to-day management of Fluidstack's contractor and extended workforce program, vendor relationships, compliant processes, and advisory support to hiring managers, with a focus on automation and scalable solutions as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management of Fluidstack's contractor and extended workforce program, from intake through offboarding.
  • Manage vendor and staffing supplier relationships, holding partners accountable for service quality and responsiveness.
  • Build and maintain compliant processes for worker classification, onboarding, access, and data protection.
  • Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on workforce solutions, weighing cost, speed, compliance, and risk.
  • Improve the systems and workflows behind the program, including vendor management tooling, reporting, and documentation.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and IT to resolve escalations and keep the program's controls current as it scales.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in contingent workforce, extended workforce, procurement operations, or HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS) or similar contractor-management tooling.
  • Working knowledge of worker classification, co-employment, and the compliance considerations behind contractor programs.
  • Experience partnering across Legal, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve workforce issues.
  • A strong operator who solves problems directly and builds solutions rather than waiting on vendors to do it.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving with urgency in a fast-changing business.
  • Bonus: Experience scaling a contractor program at a high-growth or infrastructure company. Interest in using automation to reduce manual program work.
