About the role

Software Engineer responsible for building the mission execution infrastructure for autonomous robots and multi-agent systems, bridging mission planning to field deployment and ensuring reliable, real-time behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the mission execution infrastructure that turns planned missions into reliable, real-time behavior across fleets of autonomous systems.
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs for mission guidance, orchestration, agents communication, and execution.
  • Set and defend a high quality bar: CI/CD pipelines, testing, code review standards, observability, and release discipline.
  • Write production-grade C++ and Python that runs in real-time and resource-constrained environments.
  • Partner with Mission Planning, and product teams to ensure algorithms are integrated cleanly, tested thoroughly, and deployable in the field.
  • Analyze logs and telemetry from tests and live operations to find failure modes and drive systemic fixes.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong coding in C++ and Python, with solid software engineering fundamentals (system design, concurrency, testing, debugging).
  • Experience building and shipping production software, ideally with distributed or real-time systems.
