About the role
Electrical Engineer to design high-density electronics for Satellite User Terminal applications, with hands-on responsibilities from schematic capture to production support and system-level architecture decisions including power distribution and thermal strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design schematic and layout of mixed-signal, RF, power, and digital circuitry.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, including power networks, thermal management, and component selection.
- Successful delivery of PCB/PCBA builds using HDI technology.
- Develop and execute PCBA test plans with an emphasis on IEC compliance and reliability across environmental conditions for an outdoor product.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge and experience with schematic capture and layout of high-density PCBs in Orcad or Allegro
- Working knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in board-level design, bring-up, manufacturing, and testing
- Experience with DFM/DFT/DFX
- Experience with IPC standards for PCB manufacturing, assembly, and test
- Established track record of designing and releasing electronics into production, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Demonstrated experience with general EE test equipment
