About the role

Garage Door Technician Apprentice in Charlotte, NC (Concord, NC location). Full-time, on-site, commission-based role with uncapped earnings and extensive hands-on mechanical work. Training provided with a clear path to six-figure earnings over time.

Responsibilities

  • Physical work, every day: springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors. You repair and install it all.
  • Lifting 75+ lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in extreme temperatures (hot and cold garages).
  • Selling is integral to the role: no sale means no paycheck; you will be trained to earn the “yes” from homeowners.

Qualifications

  • 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving experience
  • Can lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps
  • Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools (home services, auto shops, hospitality, DIY projects)
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record
  • Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements and payments
  • No sales experience required (training provided)
