About the role

Responsibilities
- Own the territory: build and manage a target agency list, develop and iterate a territory plan.
- Own the number: maintain a production target for bound premium and policy count, track pipeline and adjust plans to hit targets.

- Ask for commitments: leave conversations with specific production commitments.
- Pitch Branch effectively: communicate Branch’s value proposition, appetite, and differentiators to target producers.
- Drive quality quoting behavior: educate agencies on Branch's ideal risk profile to improve quote outcomes.
- Champion staff-first quoting: train agency staff to quote in Branch's platform before using a comparative rater.
- Activate and retain producing agencies: grow share of producing target agencies and re-engage quiet ones.
- Address objections: handle agency/shoppers' objections and reposition Branch as the preferred option.
- Report back on the ground truth: convert territory insights into actionable product/strategy feedback.
- Partner cross-functionally: collaborate with Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to remove production barriers.

- Proven accountability to a production number.
- Experience influencing independent professionals to choose your product/service over alternatives.
- Existing relationships with independent agencies in the assigned state(s) are helpful.
