About the role

Senior/lead role focused on guiding the team in AI-enabled tooling, performance optimization, automation, and test architectures within AMD. Provides long-range strategy, mentoring, and consultative direction to senior management in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for exploring opportunities to improve product
  • Architect and Design AI enabled tools, Leverage LLMs effectively in existing software workflows for identifying oppurtunities and enhancing efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Work closely with other team members to understand design architecture and to propose solutions to improve and enhance products

Qualifications

  • Product engineering background with hardware platforms and their software & firmware ecosystems with ~15 years of product engineering experience
  • Integration of advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous agents into core product suite and deep expertise in prompt engineering
  • Experience into test architecture, test strategy and validation automation
  • Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, planning, and technical leadership skills
  • Proven record of accomplishment in delivering large multi-functional product solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed technical organization and multi-site environment
  • Solid programming skills in Python, C, or C++
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, AI, or a closely related field
