About the role

AMD cores organization seeks a Core Verification Engineer to contribute to verification of high-speed microprocessor designs, collaborating with RTL teams in a Fort Collins, CO location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes, methodologies, and tools used to verify high-speed microprocessor designs, including development of randomized test stimulus and infrastructure
  • Lead and/or contribute to the development of verification stimulus for specific architectural and microarchitectural features
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code and collaborate with the RTL design team to define and optimize verification strategies for CPU cores
  • Measure and analyze verification coverage, identify gaps and weaknesses, and implement improvements to meet design and project quality objectives

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in CS, CSE, EE, a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience

Skills

Required:Programming languages (Ruby, C/C++, x86 assembly)Understanding of modern computer architectureVerification techniques for microprocessors/ASICs
