About the role
Field AI is seeking a Project Manager, Robotics Deployment to keep field deployments (drones, quadrupeds, humanoids) on schedule and on plan. You will build and maintain deployment project plans, coordinate engineers and operations, interface with customers, and manage status across workstreams. Based in Singapore with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain project plans for assigned deployments — tasks, owners, dates, dependencies, and readiness criteria
- Track progress against milestones and keep the plan current as conditions change in the field
- Maintain the issue and risk log for each deployment, escalating blockers to the deployment lead with context and options
- Prepare status reports, milestone readouts, and metrics summaries for internal and customer stakeholders
- Run recurring project meetings: agendas, notes, decisions, action items, and follow-through to closure
- Coordinate the logistics that make a deployment happen — equipment shipments, spares, tooling, site access, badging, safety documentation, and customer scheduling
- Support commissioning, field testing, and validation activities on site, capturing results against test plans and acceptance criteria
- Triage issues raised in the field: reproduce and document the problem, route it to the right engineering owner, and drive it to resolution
- Track open defects and customer requests through to closure, keeping the customer informed of status
- Coordinate across Software, Hardware, Robotics, Product, and Customer Success to confirm commitments and surface conflicts early
- Keep the deployment lead and engineering owners aligned on what's due, what's late, and what's at risk
- Capture customer feedback and deployment learnings in a structured form the product and engineering teams can act on
- Maintain deployment playbooks, checklists, standard operating procedures, and post-deployment retrospectives
- Keep project documentation and shared workspaces organized, current, and usable by the next person who runs the same deployment
- Identify recurring friction in the deployment process and propose improvements
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, technical operations, field operations, or a similar role supporting complex technical work
- Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders and moving dates, in an environment where plans change frequently
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
- Strong Experience in a customer-facing or on-site setting is strongly preferred
