About the role

Avionics Technician role supporting the Electrical Engineering team in designing, verifying, procuring, manufacturing, and testing V-BAT aircraft electrical systems and circuit boards.

Responsibilities

  • An Avionics Technician supports the entire Avionics team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Spans design, verification, procurement, manufacturing, and test.
  • Work specifically with the Electrical Engineering team as they design and verify all V-BAT electrical systems and circuit boards.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years working in an electrical engineering lab or equivalent
  • Experience performing benchtop testing with basic EE equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, electronic load, thermal chamber, etc.)
  • Can design basic test fixtures
  • Can fabricate wire harnesses based on engineering drawings
  • May be able to design basic wire harnesses or simple circuit boards
  • Able to rework circuit boards down to at least 0402 parts
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects (internships, jobs, clubs, teams, personal projects, etc.)
  • Demonstrated history of ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results
  • Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding high standards, and being kind to others
