About the role

Administrative role providing comprehensive support for a large engineering team, with a focus on operational tasks, procurement, facilities coordination, event planning, and new hire onboarding within Apple’s Hardware technology group.

Responsibilities

  • High-volume purchasing for the group
  • Equipment inventory, office supply ordering, and facilities coordination
  • Working closely with finance and other related teams to ensure smoothly operating systems under tight time constraints to secure goods and contract services
  • Light project support and calendar coordination
  • Management and implementation of efficient administrative processes
  • Event planning
  • New hire coordination

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of previous administration or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing various projects and events from conception to completion
  • This role can require in-office presence up to 5 days a week
  • High proficiency with a variety of applications such as Apple Calendar, Keynote, Pages, Slack, Quip, and Excel/Numbers
  • Ability to work well independently or collaboratively as needed
  • Experience working in a highly dynamic environment supporting a large group
  • Exceptionally proactive self-starter with phenomenal attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; tact, discretion, and initiative to efficiently meet the demands of all groups within the team
