About the role

Role in Battery Engineering to architect, implement, and maintain a verification system for testing complex firmware/software and to develop battery technologies with improved energy density. Collaborates with multiple product teams to push battery capabilities and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, easy to understand, robust, testable, reusable, and sustainable code tailored for embedded test systems.
  • Develop and maintain various automated engineering tools used to debug, analyze, and test embedded products.
  • Work with project leaders to define assignments, schedules, quality expectations, and other project criteria.
  • Present results and recommendations.
  • Quickly debug and effectively close out system issues related to the product firmware, software, and systems.

Qualifications

  • BS degree.
  • Experience programming in C and Python.
  • Experience working with micro-controllers.
  • Experience with development tools such as JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
  • Experience designing, developing, or maintaining test suites using Pytest or other framework.
  • Experience setting up, integrating, or maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience in low-pin-count communication buses such as I2C, UART, SPI.
  • RTOS experience.
  • Understanding of ARM architecture.
