About the role

Technical Specialist in Apple Retail providing technical support, skilled troubleshooting, and product/service education to customers; focuses on repairs, repairs processes, and fostering an inclusive, high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and skilled troubleshooting for all customers
  • Educate customers on Apple products and services and repair options
  • Develop knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software
  • Identify recurring repair problems with team leaders and relay feedback to Apple
  • Offer product and service recommendations aligned with customer needs and educate on purchasing options
  • Support customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor as needed
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and uphold Apple values of inclusion and diversity
  • Demonstrate technical expertise of Apple products and services
  • Follow troubleshooting steps to identify root causes in a customer service setting
  • Navigate customer service issues with care and strong interpersonal skills
  • Continuously learn about Apple and third-party products to enhance the customer experience
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks
  • Collaborate effectively in a team and maintain accountability
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly
  • Be curious and open to learning from others and helping team growth
  • Have availability to work a schedule based on business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays in the retail store
  • Attend work reliably in line with local laws and accommodations policy
