About the role

Apple is seeking a Wireless Testing Engineer to develop scalable and robust test systems for validating PHY firmware releases in Apple’s Wireless Connectivity group. The role involves creating testing scenarios, producing informative reports, and collaborating with Firmware engineers to support regression testing and validation across multiple Apple devices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tests to validate PHY FW releases.
  • Create scalable and robust test systems to support delivery of new and existing features for various Apple devices.
  • Collaborate with Wireless Connectivity Firmware engineers to provide secure, high-quality regression testing to support firmware solutions.
  • Triage, debugging and validation of software issues in collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in testing/verification/QA development
  • Strong, proven skills in Python and OOP
  • Strong understanding of software test and validation methodologies
  • Able to support engineering team with triage, debugging and validation of software issues
