About the role

Part of the iCloud Quality Engineering team, responsible for building and evolving the test automation ecosystem across iCloud core products (iOS, macOS, web). Lead automation initiatives, design scalable frameworks/tools/infrastructure, and apply AI to testing workflows to improve coverage, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Identify automation requirements and design solutions to address test execution challenges.
  • Analyze existing codebases and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage AI to enhance existing tools and daily productivity.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in test automation, software development in test, or quality engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, or a comparable language.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining production-quality automation code.
  • Experience designing and building automated test frameworks and tools, not only writing tests within existing ones.
  • Experience writing test plans and creating automated UI tests with XCTest, WebDriver, or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
  • Experience working with CI systems and test infrastructure.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and triage difficult problems both independently and collaboratively.
