About the role

Role focused on pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low power embedded graphics cores for Apple's GPU design centre in Cambridge, UK. Involves understanding micro-architectural details, developing verification plans, creating test benches, and driving high-quality closure of complex graphics IPs through SystemVerilog, UVM, and scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low power embedded graphics cores
  • Develop test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Generate tests, run and debug simulations to drive graphics IPs to high-quality closure
  • Create and execute verification plans
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Design, and Software teams
  • Negotiate program objectives with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer architecture or micro-architecture (graphics experience preferred but not required)
  • SystemVerilog, UVM, Python
  • Excellent planning, collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
