About the role

AV Engineer II to join Spotify's IT Studio in Stockholm, owning AV experiences across EMEA, from meeting rooms to executive meetings, and partnering with global AV team, IT Support, NetOps, vendors, and internal teams to deliver reliable, scalable AV and AI-enabled collaboration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AV experience across EMEA, including meeting rooms, boardrooms, common areas, labs, lounges, and digital signage
  • Provide thoughtful, high-quality AV support for executive and VIP meetings, ensuring technology works reliably when it matters most
  • Design, document, deliver, and maintain AV solutions and technical standards in partnership with the global AV team. Review technical designs and documentation from external integrators to ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Lead AV initiatives and projects with internal partners and external vendors, from defining scope through delivery, commissioning, and handover
  • Act as an escalation point for complex AV issues and support incident, problem, and change management when needed
  • Monitor AV infrastructure and performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and test new solutions that make collaboration easier
  • Deploy and support AI-powered capabilities across meeting rooms and video conferencing, while using AI tooling to improve monitoring, reporting, documentation, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain AV asset information, contribute to forecasting and budgeting, and create clear technical documentation and training materials
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, integrators, and internal partners while identifying better ways of working across the team
  • Share knowledge with colleagues, support onboarding of new team members, and continue developing AV expertise

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of AV experience and delivered AV projects through design, integration, commissioning, and ongoing support
  • Understanding of AV hardware (DSP, control processors, amplifiers, etc.) with experience using Crestron, Q-SYS, and Dante; Q-SYS design experience and AVIXA CTS, Q-SYS Level 2, or Dante Level 3 certifications are a plus
  • Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and monitoring video conferencing systems (Google Meet hardware, Zoom Rooms)
  • Familiarity with fleet management and monitoring tools; ability to troubleshoot across connected AV systems
  • Experience supporting senior executives or VIPs with discreet, professional support under time-sensitive priorities
  • Understanding IT and networking fundamentals, including AV over enterprise networks
  • Familiarity with Dante and Q-SYS (multicast, QoS, clocking); experience with Jira or similar ticketing/work-management systems
  • Clear communication of technical information and creation of user-friendly documentation
  • Curiosity about AI in meetings and willingness to experiment with AI tools to improve work
  • Ability to work independently and with distributed teams; strong relationship-building with partners and vendors
  • Ownership mindset, adaptability to changing priorities, and commitment to ongoing learning
