About the role

Product Manager for Supabase Realtime, owning the surface area for live, collaborative and event-driven apps (Broadcast, Presence, Postgres Changes) and future capabilities. Collaborates with Realtime Engineering, Design, GTM, Pricing and Finance to shape developer experience, packaging and pricing, and how Realtime evolves with AI and other Supabase products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers of all sizes and expertise levels to understand needs and feedback.
  • Own the problem statements and solution rationale behind the Realtime roadmap, shaping the developer experience in collaboration with Engineering and Design.
  • Shape how Realtime evolves to enable future application experiences, including AI apps and integration with other Supabase products.
  • Own Realtime packaging and pricing, working with Pricing, Finance and Billing.
  • Use data to understand how developers use Realtime features, identify successes and friction points, and prioritize work.
  • Keep Engineering, Design and GTM aligned; own the plan of record for upcoming features, rationale, and prioritization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as an ex-founder.
  • Experience owning an app development platform/feature/framework where real-time was core to the developer experience.
  • Strong data-driven mindset; able to query and clean own findings.
  • Comfort with Postgres and familiarity with logical replication.
  • Ability to work asynchronously; effective written communication in a fully remote environment.
