About the role

Lead the global packaging and industrial design program functions, defining frameworks, standards, and operating systems for international packaging initiatives across multiple regions (AU, CAN, UK). Build design operations processes, prioritize work, and partner with design, marketing, supply chain, and legal to scale a global packaging program.

Responsibilities

  • Define what great looks like: establish global design operation standards, serve as internal subject matter authority on global packaging program management, contribute to process onboarding and craft development of the DPM function, design the operating system for future hires.
  • Drive org-level prioritization: design global prioritization framework and escalation models, build dashboards and briefing formats to surface tradeoffs, influence roadmap decisions across design, supply chain, and marketing with data-informed risk insights.
  • Global program leadership: architect and steer end-to-end packaging and print graphics programs across regions (AU, CAN, UK) in partnership with regional teams, maintain strong regional relationships.
  • Compliance & regulatory fluency: develop knowledge of healthcare packaging regulatory requirements across regions and embed compliance checkpoints in creative process; translate regulations into briefs and review criteria.
  • Creative partnership: collaborate with designers from brief to final production, maintain fluency across print graphics production, structural packaging, and CMF; translate between disciplines; establish capacity dashboards and structured tradeoff conversations to improve planning.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years in design program management or creative operations, with experience in healthcare, consumer goods, or regulated packaging.
  • Proven track record building processes from scratch.
  • Broad packaging program expertise from kickoff to press check.
  • Demonstrated organizational influence beyond own programs.
  • Experience designing prioritization frameworks with adop­tion by stakeholders.
  • Cross-disciplinary fluency in industrial design, structural packaging, and CMF.
  • Proficiency with PM tooling (Asana, Airtable, Google Suite, Dropbox) and comfort reviewing work in Figma.
