About the role
Office Manager role at Nox Metals in Detroit, responsible for keeping the Detroit workplace organized and professional, owning practical office systems, and providing administrative support to enable the team, visitors, and suppliers to operate smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Own daily office readiness, supplies, shared spaces, mail, and common equipment
- Welcome visitors and coordinate customer, candidate, vendor, and team visits
- Manage facility-service vendors and follow issues through completion
- Coordinate meetings, meals, travel, events, and occasional company logistics
- Support document, purchasing, invoice, and expense workflows
- Maintain clear records, inventories, contact lists, and office calendars
- Help new employees receive the access, equipment, and information they need
- Partner with operations and people teams on workplace needs
- Handle sensitive information and situations with discretion
- Build checklists and routines that keep the office consistent as the company grows
Qualifications
- Experience in office management, executive support, workplace operations, hospitality, or facilities coordination
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, startup, or fast-growing team
- Experience managing vendors, events, purchasing, or travel
- Familiarity with basic safety, access-control, or facility processes
- Comfort using AI tools to improve administrative work and documentation
- 5+ years of experience (as per job description)
- US citizen/visa only (visa requirement)
