About the role
A high-activity, early-career sales role in Detroit focused on qualifying conversations with manufacturers to drive next steps for the sales team. You will research accounts, conduct outbound outreach, qualify needs, and ensure accurate CRM records while learning aluminum products and customer terminology.
Responsibilities
- Research targeted accounts and identify relevant contacts
- Make consistent outbound calls and follow up by email
- Explain Nox Metals clearly and ask useful discovery questions
- Qualify material needs, timing, buying process, and potential fit
- Schedule well-prepared handoffs to inside or outside sales
- Follow up on campaigns, events, dormant accounts, and selected inbound leads
- Record accurate notes, outcomes, and next steps in the CRM
- Review call results and improve messaging with coaching
- Learn aluminum products, common applications, and customer terminology
- Protect customer trust by avoiding claims or commitments you cannot support
Qualifications
- Any (new grads ok)
- Comfortable starting conversations with people you have not met
- Resilient and able to learn from rejection without becoming robotic
- A strong listener who notices useful details
- Clear, concise, and professional on the phone
- Organized about follow-up and honest about activity
- Coachable, curious, and motivated to improve quickly
- Interested in developing a career in industrial sales
