About the role

Weekend Operations Associate to support material handling, production, packaging, and shipping at the Detroit factory. Responsible for maintaining safety, accuracy, and timely weekend production and shipments. Training provided for equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and uphold safety standards for the team
  • Receive, stage, move, package, or ship aluminum material as assigned
  • Support saw operations after required training
  • Operate forklifts and lifting equipment after training and certification
  • Verify material, labels, dimensions, and quantities at each handoff
  • Record work and material movements accurately in our software
  • Help the team meet weekend production and shipment commitments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area
  • Communicate open work and problems clearly to the next shift
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years
  • Availability and dependability for the full assigned weekend schedule
  • Serious about safety
  • Flexible and willing to learn multiple floor functions
  • Attentive to detail and comfortable with physical work
  • Steady teammate who takes ownership without constant supervision
  • Comfortable with software or willing to learn
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., operate equipment, and remain on your feet for a full shift with or without reasonable accommodation
