About the role
Chief of Staff role to assist the CEO and leadership team in turning company priorities into action across cross-functional teams, with ownership of high-stakes initiatives and operating cadence in a fast-moving industrial/manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate company priorities into clear plans, owners, metrics, and follow-up
- Lead high-priority projects across operations, sales, finance, people, and engineering
- Prepare decision memos, analyses, and leadership materials
- Build and run effective leadership meetings and operating reviews
- Identify unresolved risks, dependencies, and decisions before they become emergencies
- Conduct research and turn incomplete information into a clear recommendation
- Improve communication and accountability across the company
- Track company performance and help leaders focus on the most important constraints
- Represent the CEO in selected meetings and ensure commitments are carried through
- Handle sensitive information with exceptional judgment
Qualifications
- Experience in operations leadership or equivalent high-stakes program management
- 8+ years of experience
- An unusually clear thinker and writer
- Comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous, high-stakes work
- Analytical but practical with strong execution
- Direct, tactful, and capable of cross-functional trust-building
- Highly organized and able to avoid bureaucracy
- Low ego, willing to do strategic and unglamorous work
- Steady under pressure and proficient with confidential information
- Energized by fast-moving industrial business
- US citizen/visa only
