About the role
Local Delivery Driver role at Nox Metals, a fast-growing metal supply and automation company serving aerospace and defense manufacturers. Drive, inspect, and deliver customer orders from a Nox Metals facility to American factories, coordinate with shipping, ensure loads are safe and correctly documented, and maintain professional service at customer and supplier facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Verify each load against delivery paperwork before departure
- Confirm material is packaged, supported, and secured safely
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies
- Deliver orders safely and communicate delays or issues promptly
- Obtain accurate delivery confirmation and return documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report maintenance needs
- Assist with loading and unloading when trained and safe to do so
- Provide professional service at customer and supplier facilities
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- A safe, patient, and defensive driver
- Properly licensed for the vehicle assigned to you
- Dependable and careful with documentation
- Professional with customers and teammates
- Comfortable handling schedule changes without cutting corners
- Able to inspect securement and speak up when a load is not safe
- Comfortable using mobile software for routes, records, and communication
- Able to perform the physical duties of loading support with or without reasonable accommodation
