About the role

Senior Scheduler role within Accenture Construct, focused on delivering detailed project schedules for data center construction programs from design through closeout, coordinating with project teams, and leveraging scheduling tools to meet owner objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
  • Define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate timelines; optimize workflows and resource allocations to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to align schedules with owner objectives.
  • Track progress against the baseline schedule; prepare regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
  • Identify schedule risks early; assess potential impacts; recommend or implement mitigation strategies.
  • Perform “what-if” analyses and develop recovery schedules to address changes or disruptions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to communicate schedule updates; coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Document actual versus planned timelines; maintain historical schedule data; analyze lessons learned for future improvement.
  • Flexible: hybrid work location with remote, onsite client, or Accenture office/center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
