About the role

DevSecOps Engineer to build, maintain, and improve the development, deployment, and operational infrastructure supporting a modern microservice-based application platform. Collaborates with software engineers, security teams, and platform stakeholders to improve building, testing, securing, deploying, and operating applications across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve development, deployment, and operational infrastructure for a microservice-based platform.
  • Work closely with software engineers, security teams, and platform stakeholders to improve how applications are built, tested, secured, deployed, and operated across environments.
  • Automate repeatable processes, troubleshoot distributed systems, and integrate security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Enable development teams to deliver software reliably and securely without unnecessary operational complexity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related role.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based development and operational environments.
  • Strong experience with Docker and container-based application development.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications using Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar platforms.
  • Experience with GitOps deployment practices and tools such as Argo CD.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility.
