About the role
Senior, full-stack analyst and data scientist owning Product and PLG analytics end-to-end for Nebius Tavily, focusing on self-serve funnel metrics, drivers of activation/retention/monetization, and collaboration with executive leadership on growth, pricing, and market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own Product and PLG analytics end-to-end: define, instrument and measure the self-serve funnel, from first API call through activation, conversion to paid, expansion and churn.
- Uncover the drivers behind top-level KPIs: which behaviors, use cases and product experiences predict activation, retention and monetization.
- Build data pipelines and models (SQL, dbt, Python, orchestration) turning raw product, usage and billing data into trusted datasets.
- Build and ship predictive models (conversion propensity, churn risk, usage forecasting, lead and account scoring) and integrate outputs into product and GTM workflows.
- Design, run and evaluate experiments (A/B tests, pricing/packaging tests, onboarding changes) and apply causal inference when needed.
- Monitor key business and product metrics, investigate trends/anomalies, surface actionable insights.
- Partner with CEO and leadership on strategic questions (pricing, growth levers, product bets, market opportunities) and turn ambiguous questions into clear analysis.
- Set the standard for product success measurement: definitions, source of truth, analytical rigor across teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product / Growth Analyst, Data Scientist or equivalent.
- 2+ years in a SaaS company with understanding of funnels, cohorts, activation, retention, monetization and PLG dynamics.
- Strong statistical foundation.
- Proven end-to-end ownership from data engineering through modeling to delivered recommendations.
- Hands-on Python experience for data analysis, experimentation, ML and data modeling in production.
- Experience with large, messy event-level datasets.
- Experience building, validating and deploying predictive models used to inform business decisions (classification, forecasting, segmentation).
- Ability to influence business strategy with data and align cross-functional stakeholders, including executives.
- Strong communication: translating complex analyses into clear stories and concrete recommendations.
- Experience with modern data tooling (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, BI tools like Omni/Looker/Tableau).
