About the role

Senior Product Manager responsible for shaping requests for software delivery, owning the what from idea to engineering handoff, prioritising the software ticket pipeline, and ensuring proper documentation and timing across Jira and Confluence in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Turn ideas into formal requests: define problem, scope, acceptance criteria, and regulatory/clinical context before backlog entry.
  • Own and prioritise the software ticket pipeline in Jira: intake, triage, and grooming to reflect real priority.
  • Own the idea-to-documentation handoff with the software team: ensure context, requirements, and documentation are available (Confluence) and decisions are captured.
  • Advocate for how and when work should happen: coordinate with the Project Manager to align sequencing with true priority.
  • Maintain the operating model that information lives in Jira for delivery and Confluence for documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner with a software engineering team, ideally in a regulated or safety-conscious environment.
  • Comfort writing precise requirements and acceptance criteria for engineers.
  • Natural translator between non-technical stakeholders and engineers.
  • Able to operate in an early-stage environment with shifting priorities and to impose structure.
  • Interest in the operational side of product management and delivering end-to-end processes.
