About the role

12-month full-time graduate trainee program in silicon design engineering hosted by AMD in Penang, Malaysia. Designed to launch graduates' careers with potential conversion to permanent roles upon successful program completion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for High Speed IO Protocol IPs (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, UFS)
  • Understand architecture specifications requirements and complete duties assigned by the Supervisor
  • Work well inside team/cross functional teams
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to understand tasks to deliver
  • Run design flows, simulations and regression management
  • Perform first level debug tests/design errors to determine root cause
  • Suggest fixes and solutions to test/design errors
  • Develop scripting for daily task execution efficiency improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical & electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or comparable disciplines
