About the role
Contract University Relations Recruiter based in Austin, TX with hybrid schedule and in-person presence required for key campus events and intern engagements.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for interns and intern conversions, primarily for technical roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and drive hiring decisions
- Deliver a strong candidate experience, from outreach through onboarding
- Drive a 50%+ intern conversion rate by engaging eligible graduating interns early
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business units
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance in the Applicant Tracking System
- Support local recruiting and internship events (on-site attendance required)
- Contribute to various University Relations initiatives and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience working with college/university student populations strongly preferred
- Preferred Skills & Experience includes Passion for university hiring and early-career talent development, Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Proven ability to collaborate and influence across teams, Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools, Comfortable managing multiple roles and priorities in a deadline-driven environment, Confident in resolving issues, managing expectations, and building trust
