About the role

AMD Platform validation role focusing on validating AMD Client/Graphics platforms, driving validation strategies, test plans, and cross-functional issue triage across post-silicon and bring-up phases for Ryzen/Radeon platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Engaged in AMD Ryzen/Radeon post-silicon phases; develop validation strategies and test plans for AMD reference or customer platform designs
  • Create test procedures and generate technical documents as needed
  • Execute Post-Si Integration validation; Track/Report validation status
  • Triage/debug system level issues with cross-function engineering teams (Firmware, SW, diag, board design) and determine root cause
  • Support new GPU product bring-up and debug issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years hands-on industry experience in PC, laptop, graphics, motherboard, server product test and issue debug
  • Solid knowledge of PC hardware elements (CPU, GPU chipset, I/O devices, etc), software (BIOS, drivers, Operating System) and PC architecture
  • Technical experience in electrical hardware design, ASIC platform’s test and debug, and related tools, defect tracking and revision control
