About the role

Role within AMD's Multimedia Security Platform team in Serbia focusing on secure content protection technologies for premium video playback across AMD platforms, with emphasis on Linux systems, trusted execution environments, and hardware-assisted security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Widevine OEMCrypto implementations in Trusted Execution Environments.
  • Develop and optimize secure content decryption modules (CDM) for protected video playback.
  • Implement secure buffer handling and encrypted content processing pipelines.
  • Work on integration between OEMCrypto, secure VA-API, and multimedia frameworks
  • Develop end-to-end testing applications for Widevine L1 secure playback validation.
  • Collaborate with PSP (Platform Security Processor), multimedia driver teams, and display teams for secure video path implementation.
  • Support HDCP integration and secure rendering pipelines.
  • Investigate, debug, and resolve security-related software issues throughout the trusted application stack.
  • Work with Google Widevine certification and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in validation automation, testing methodologies, and software quality processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
