About the role
12-month graduate trainee program in Penang, Malaysia focused on financial accounting with potential conversion to permanent employment for top performers.
Responsibilities
- Perform month end close, expense review and accruals/reclassification and support accounting treatment
- Prepare and provide financial updates to leadership team (budget, operating expenses, capital expenses, headcount, etc.)
- Define, design, develop, deploy, and integrate new or modified automation to enhance processes
- Assume full ownership on ad hoc projects, reports and analyses as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, IT, or equivalent
- MBA or CPA preferred
