About the role

Senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the long-term system innovation strategy across AMD's Client PC and Personal AI platforms, overseeing architecture, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic engagements with OEM/ODM partners to accelerate innovation and platform leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define the Future of Personal Computing: Develop and drive AMD's multi-year roadmap for Client PC and Personal AI system innovation; Identify future platform concepts, user experiences, form factors, and technologies; Translate technology leadership into compelling end-user experiences; Evaluate emerging trends to inform priorities and investments.
  • Lead OEM & ODM Co-Innovation: Build strategic partnerships with OEM/ODM companies; Align ecosystem roadmaps with AMD investments; Drive co-engineering initiatives to accelerate innovation and platform differentiation; Establish AMD as the preferred innovation partner; Lead ODM collaborations.
  • Build a Scalable Innovation Engine: Create governance, investment framework, and processes to drive innovation; Align cross-functional teams around priorities; Ensure investments translate to measurable business results and design-win success.
  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Build and mentor system architects, strategists, and ecosystem leaders; Foster a culture of innovation and accountability; Influence senior leadership on priorities and investments.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in system architecture, platform engineering, product strategy, semiconductors, computing systems, or related technology fields.
  • Demonstrated success developing and commercializing innovative computing platforms with significant business impact.
  • Deep understanding of PC platform architecture, software ecosystems, AI technologies, and system design principles.
  • Experience partnering with OEMs/ODMs and ecosystem partners to drive platform innovation and adoption.
  • Proven ability to influence across large, global organizations and external ecosystems.
  • Strong executive presence with communication, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience translating long-range technology strategies into roadmaps and business outcomes.
